Reproducing sound can be a very difficult task in an automotive environment. That is why the Soundstream acoustical engineers have developed a new tweeter innovation called “Harmonic Induction Technology” or HIT in the Picasso full-range speaker line. We use this brand new tweeter technology to put the lost harmonics back into the upper range of your music all the way up to 50KHz. The new HIT tweeter has a very warm and accurate sound reproducing the lost harmonics and frequency range due to prior material limitations with the key ingredient of the diaphragm called tantalum.
